The awe-inspiring Count of Monte Cristo and Terrible Tommorow

Yup, I am a chip of the old block, and just finished the full version of this masterpiece by Dumas, which I got from the Gutenberg project.
But don't worry, I'm not wholly an old chip, as I love modern novels too, excepting maybe a few which are pure romances, for I find that my mind can neither understand them nor bear them.
Hehe, ok maybe im not making any sense, but I warn you that I rarely do, and if I do, it is most probably not the meaning I intended.
To get back to our count, the story probably deserved the title I gave it(awe-inspiring), for it was truly a thrilling, touching tale to be thought upon of the admirable protagonist, Edmond Dantes, also known as the Count of Monte Cristo, Abbe Bussoni, Lord Wilmore, and Sinbad the sailor.
Alexandre Dumas quite got the effect he wanted for his hero of this classic, that is that of a cold-blooded avenger.
When we(atleast I) read of such a person whom we may take to be a sort of role model for ourselves, we immidiately, though involuntarily compare ourselves to him/her and so did I.
I was pleased to discover quite some likenesses between him and me, which was well, suprising, considering that our upbringings that have been very different e.g. cold-blood.
Now I have bored you all enough about this stupid count..........so on with the next topic: Terrifying Tomorrow.

Yes tomorrow's a very terrifying day...... and guess why.

No, most of you got it wrong. Tomorrow's a terrifying day for engineering student's all over the country....... as tomorrow's the day assigned for the most difficult exam in the world..........IIT-JEE.
Yes, that exceedingly tough exam has been known to make mince-meat of even the calmest and most prepared student.
Here at Kota, Rajasthan where IIT-JEE coaching is the primary aim of the vast student population, you can almost cut the exam tension with a knife. It was a strange sight, the streets which are normally filled with students frolicking around, was almost deserted, like that of a ghost town. It was an astounding sight, for imagine the 3rd largest city of Rajasthan's streets almost entirely devoid of humans.
Two of my friends are giving that exam, and I was surprised to see them both of them calm and collected, serene almost as if they had just given the exam, which I guess is due to their thorough preparedness.

I promise another post tomorrow, on the state of the question paper e.g. if was tough, somewhat easy etc.

Till then, buh-bye.
