Like I promised you all(whoever reads the blog) yesterday, I will now
proceed and write on the state of the IIT-JEE paper that aspiring
IITians just gave today.
Before proceeding, two words: VERY TOUGH.
Like you all know, two of my friends have
this enigmatic entrance exam, and i've given a sort of twist to
today's blog by writing from their different viewpoints.
1st case:
Chirag Sangani,
Ex-Bansal 31st ranker,
Hopes of getting a top 50 rank for computer science.
As you can see from the above short description, Chirag's a scholy(in
mumbaiya), and a 'fodu'(in kota-speak). He's a total genius, and
unlike me, has a body which responds to his will, thus helping him
become even smarter. He was online today at around 6:30pm and I could
wrest the condition of today's paper from him. According to him, the
paper was quite good(meaning a lil' on the tougher side). But for him,
the math in both the paper's was tough when compared to the other
subjects, with the math section of paper two being 'amazingly tough'.
That's all that I could wrest out from him before the topic of the
conversation changed to something far less interesting, i.e. him
trying to acquire from me the address of this blog, which he did
manage to get after some struggle. Ok, enough blabbering.
Let's move on to the next guest of honour, Raj(esh) Agrawal.
Ok, maybe his CV till now is not as impressive as Chirag's but two
viewpoints are better than one, so here goes:
Raj(esh) Agrawal.
Ex-Bansalite,
Is a repeater due to a poor rank,
Hope's of getting into IIT with atleast a moderately good rank, from
my perception.
Now as you can see from the above description, Rajesh is one of the
not-so-special students, who only have a little intelligence and a lot
of hard work at their command. His expectations from these papers are
approximately of 235 marks. Atleast according to our teacher's here at
Bansal, the cut-off marks for this year's selection is expected to be
around 150 marks in both the papers. So I fully expect him to be
selected atleast with a tolerable rank. He's a pretty decent guy, and
I wouldn't wish him any ill luck.
Well, this much seems enough for today, as it was just written to tell
you people about the question paper.
About the next post, well I already have two topics on which to write.....
The recent surprising win of India over South Africa, and the case of 50% reservation in the IIT's.....
